Prerequisite:  

  • Knowledge of The Basics of Wire Crochet

  • Must know crochet basic stitches such as chain stitch, slip stitch and single crochet

This step-by-step illustrated tutorial will help you create an elegant crocheted ring with the wire of your choice.  It is a very light ring, and it is so comfortable, that you will soon forget that you are wearing it, despite its width. This tutorial also features a helpful Ring Sizing Chart, as a bonus!

You will need:

  • Approx. 7 ft (2.5m) of round wire in 28 ga (0.32 mm) fine silver, sterling silver, Argentium® or 14K gold filled (14/20 G.F.), dead soft temper

  • Crochet hook #8 US (1.25mm)

  • Crochet hook #7 US (1.50mm)

  • Cutters or nail-clipper (also works well and takes very little space)

  • Round-nose pliers

  • Chain-nose pliers

  • Cylindric object like a wooden dowel, a tube of lipstick or mascara, a marker, etc.
