Prerequisite:  

• Knowledge of The Basics of Wire Crochet

• Must know crochet basic stitches such as chain stitch, chain stitch with bead, slip stitch and single crochet

I first made this tutorial for an on-line challenge.  The objective was to produce a tutorial for earrings with a St. Patrick theme. 

However, I finished writing the last lines about 12 hours too late to participate (drat!), BUT I had a brand new tutorial for my web site!

You will create, with this step-by-step tutorial, an original pair of feather weight elegant earrings, and their squarish hooks.

You will need:

• Approx. 8 ft (2.5m) of round wire in 30 ga (0.25 mm) fine silver, sterling silver, Argentium® or 14K gold filled (14/20 G.F.), dead soft temper  

• 24 beads (4 mm)

• 2  beads (6 mm)

• 4 in. ( 10 cm ) of half-hard, round, 22 ga (0.64 mm) in the same metal

• Crochet hook #D/3 US (3.25 mm)

• Crochet hook #4 US (2.00mm)

• Crochet hook #12 US (1.00mm)

• Cutters or nail-clipper (also works well and takes very little space)

• Round-nose pliers

• Chain-nose pliers

•  Flat-nose pliers

• Metal file
